Serpin peptidase inhibitor, clade A (alpha-1 antiproteinase, antitrypsin), member 1 (SERPINA1), recombinant human protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in analysis of protein structure. In general, recombinant proteins can also be used as an immunogen, as a protein standard, or in cell biology research applications.

This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the human SERPINA1 pre-protein (NP_000286.3) (Met 1-Lys 418) fused to the polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

Activity: Measured by its ability to inhibit trypsin cleavage of a fluorogenic peptide substrate, Mca-RPKPVE-Nval-WRK(Dnp)-NH2 . The IC50 value is < 3.0 nM, as measured in 100 µl reaction mixture containing 1.25 ng trypsin, 10 µM substrate, 50 mM Tris, 10 mM CaCl2, 0.15 M NaCl, pH 7.5.

Formulation: Lyophilized in 25 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, 0.02% Tween-80.

Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 25 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Expiration Date: Expires one year from date of receipt when stored as instructed.

This protein is manufactured by SINO Biological.
