V-erb-b2 erythroblastic leukemia viral oncogene homolog 3 (ERBB3), recombinant human protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. In general, recombinant proteins are suitable for use in studying protein-protein interactions, as a protein standard, or in cell biology research applications.

Since this product is a truncated protein and does not contain intracellular catalytic activity domain, it is not suitable for use in enzyme activity studies..

This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Thr 643) of human ERBB3 precursor (NP_001973.2) fused to the Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus.

Activity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized human ERBB3-Fc at 1 µg/well can bind biotinylated recombinant human NRG1 with a linear range of 0.032-0.16 µg/ml.

Formulation: Lyophilized in PBS, pH7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, and 0.02% Tween-80.

Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Expiration Date: Expires one year from date of receipt when stored as instructed.

This protein is manufactured by SINO Biological.
