Interleukin 1 receptor, type II (IL1R2), recombinant human protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in studying protein-protein interactions, and cell biology research applications. It can also be used as a protein standard.

This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Glu 343) of human IL1R2 (NP_004624.1) fused to the human IgG1 Fc region at the C-terminus.

Activity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized recombinant human IL1B at 2 µg/ml (100 µl/well) can bind recombinant human IL1R2-Fc with a linear range of 6.25-400 ng/ml .

Formulation: Lyophilized in PBS, pH7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, and 0.02% Tween-80.

Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 25 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Expiration Date: Expires one year from date of receipt when stored as instructed.
