Poliovirus receptor (PVR/CD155), recombinant human protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in studying protein-protein interactions, and cell biology research applications. It can also be used as an immunogen, or as a protein standard.

This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Asn 343) of human PVR (NP_006496.3) fused to a DDDDK tag at the N-terminus.

Activity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized human PVR (400 ng/well) onto a mouse anti-human PVR antibody coated plate binds recombinant human CD226 with a linear range of 4.0-20 µg/ml..

Formulation: Lyophilized in PBS, pH7.4, 5% Mannitol, 5% Trehalose, and 0.02% Tween-80.

Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 25 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Expiration Date: Expires one year from date of receipt when stored as instructed.
